UITGEKAUWD?! (Chewed).
Together with my fellow designers Britte Tielemans and Ilse Verheijen, I have created a new material from chewing gum. Chewing gum and the devaluation of chewing gum after it has been chewed is what fascinated us. By using chewing gum as a material in a new way, we hope to accentuate the recycling of waste and increase the value of chewing gum. We want to turn something that has become worthless into something valuable.
