Together with Sophia van der Wal, I formed a duo in the field of ceramics. Our trip to Marrakech was the ideal source for our inspiration. Not only with ceramics, but also textiles, color and photography. We wanted to transform the memories and experiences we had of Marrakech into a material and image research.

 

Based on our memories, photos and research of colors and smells we started our making process. Textiles colored with commonly used spices from Marrakech. Ceramics based on colors and patterns and some photography tests with leather and sand.
